Track Status

Its been a while since we have provided any update on the status of the track. As some of you may have been aware, the original land promised by town of Ajax was located on Westney, just south of Bayly. After our last meeting with town of Ajax, we were informed that piece of land did not meet the provincial zoning regulation meeting this type of establishment. Also they mentioned they are looking into the option of providing the club with another piece of land towards north of Ajax. Since we truly need this track and with warmer season approaching real fast, we could not afford to wait much longer. Since that meeting, two other opportunities were presented to the club by other sources than the town of Ajax. We are currently exploring both options and hoping to make our decision by no later than the first week in May. So for those who patiently waited to have the track opened, its almost time. If all goes well, you will be racing on the new track by no later than early June. We will be collecting new members as soon as we finalize the land details with it's owner and start digging.
